Syringe Services
Detroit Recovery Project offers a Syringe Service Program (SSP). SSP’s are a Harm Reduction Practice and Harm reduction is a set of practical strategies and ideas aimed at reducing negative consequences associated with drug use. At DRP’s Eastside or Westside location you can drop off used syringes and works, and pick up new, clean syringes and works.
You can also access our SSP, wound care, linkage to treatment and HIV/HCV Testing in our outreach van. Listed below are our days, times and locations. You can also access SSP supplies by placing an order through our Harm Reduction Store, all items are free and shipped directly to you.
