Building Communities of Recovery (BCOR)

Building Communities of Recovery

Building Communities of Recovery (BCOR), is an initiative funded by the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration. BCOR’s goal is to mobilize resources within and outside of the recovery community to increase the prevalence and quality of long-term recovery support from substance abuse and addiction.

BCOR accomplishes this goal by providing technical assistance and trainings to recovery community organizations statewide, behavioral health professionals and recovery peers. Additionally, BCOR empowers the recovery community by increasing access information through the hosting of town hall meetings, community events and volunteer opportunities.
