Muata R. Mahluli | Board Member

Muata R. Mahluli has over 12 years of financial services experience. He began his financial services career, at American Express Financial Advisors. He also, spent four years at Merrill Lynch. At the prior firm’s, he specialized in preparing financial plans and implementing wealth management strategies.

As a Morgan Stanley financial advisor he focuses on the pre- and post-retirement needs of individuals and business owners, transforming the retirement planning process into a positive experience, addressing issues such as developing and monitoring investment matrices, insurance and goal analysis and financial planning.

He has obtained the securities license series 6, 7, 63, 65 and 31 and holds the Life, Health and Accident, and Variable contracts license. He also, maintains the College for Financial Planning designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. He completed undergraduate studies, at the University of Detroit.  

Mr. Mahluli has been active as an adult mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and as a professional presenter for Operation Hope’s Middle School financial literacy program. He is a loving husband and father of three children, 20, 16 and 2 years old.
